1. Get a CCX address

You need a CCX receiving address whose keys you control: the official Conceal wallet is the safest choice. Avoid exchange deposit addresses for solo mining: some exchanges do not accept block rewards (coinbase).

2. Download a mining software

Replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your CCX address and rig1 with your machine's name. Example with xmr-stak:

On Windows, paste this line into a .bat file inside the miner's folder; on Linux or HiveOS use the same parameters.

Pool (PPLNS) or SOLO?

PPLNS pool: everyone's hashrate is combined and each block is split according to the work each miner really did. Steady income, recommended for most rigs.

SOLO: your rig mines alone and keeps the whole block (6 CCX) when it finds one. On a small network like Conceal, a single machine can find blocks regularly; the calculator shows your exact odds.

How much can you earn mining Conceal?

Common problems

Antivirus deletes the miner: Windows Defender flags every mining software; add an exclusion for its folder.
No stats on VEIN: check the address, port and hostname; stats appear after the first shares (1 to 2 minutes).
Hashrate lower than expected: update your GPU driver, close heavy apps, and for CPUs enable huge pages (run as administrator).
