How to Mine Beam (BEAM): Complete GPU Mining Guide 2026
Beam is a confidential MimbleWimble coin, GPU-mined with BeamHash III. This guide shows step by step how to mine Beam on VeinPool, a French mining pool with a 1% fee and no sign-up: your wallet address is all you need.

Ports
- Pool (PPLNS):
stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3360· TLS:stratum+ssl://veinpool.fr:13360 - SOLO:

1. Get a BEAM address
You need a BEAM receiving address whose keys you control: the official Beam wallet is the safest choice. Avoid exchange deposit addresses for solo mining: some exchanges do not accept block rewards (coinbase).
2. Download a mining software
Miners that work with Beam on VeinPool. Only download them from their official page (links below); the fees shown are the software's own dev fee, separate from the pool fee:
- lolMiner — NVIDIA · AMD · recommended · version 1.98a · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page - MXBM — NVIDIA (CUDA) · AMD (OpenCL) · BeamHash III · version v0.8.452 · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page - GMiner — NVIDIA · AMD · version 3.44 · dev fee 1 to 2%
Windows Linux official page - miniZ — NVIDIA · recommended · dev fee 2%

3. Start mining
Replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your BEAM address and rig1 with your machine's name. Command for each miner (port 3360):
lolMiner
lolMiner.exe --algo BEAM-III --pool veinpool.fr:3360 --user YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1MXBM
mxbm.exe --algo BEAM-III --pool veinpool.fr:3360 --user YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1GMiner
miner.exe --algo beamhashIII --server veinpool.fr:3360 --user YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1miniZ
miniZ.exe --par=beam3 --url YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1@veinpool.fr:3360On Windows, paste the line into a .bat file inside the miner's folder; on Linux, start the program with ./ followed by its name. On the Beam page above, the generator writes the full command (PowerShell, .bat, Linux, HiveOS, MMPOS) with your address and a Copy button.
Pool (PPLNS) or SOLO?
PPLNS pool: everyone's hashrate is combined and each block is split according to the work each miner really did. Steady income, recommended for most rigs.
SOLO: your rig mines alone; when it finds a block it receives the reward (25 BEAM) minus the 1% pool fee. On a small network like Beam, a single machine can find blocks regularly; the calculator shows your exact odds.
How much can you earn mining Beam?
Earnings depend on your hashrate, the network difficulty and the BEAM price. The Beam calculator estimates them live (pool and solo); electricity cost is optional. The hardware ranking compares GPUs and CPUs.
Common problems
- Antivirus deletes the miner: most antivirus software flags mining tools. Only download them from their official page (links above), then add an exclusion for their folder.
- No stats on VeinPool: check the address, port and hostname; stats appear after the first shares (1 to 2 minutes).
- Hashrate lower than expected (GPU): update your graphics driver and close apps that use the GPU (games, browsers playing video).
Beam mining FAQ
Which software should I use to mine Beam?
On VeinPool, Beam can be mined with lolMiner, MXBM, GMiner, miniZ. The pool page generates the exact command for Windows, Linux, HiveOS and MMPOS.
Which port should I use to mine Beam on VeinPool?
Beam pool ports: Pool (PPLNS) → veinpool.fr:3360; SOLO → veinpool.fr:3362. Use the PPLNS port for steady income, or the SOLO port to go for whole blocks.
What are the fees to mine Beam?
VeinPool takes 1% of Beam rewards, in PPLNS and SOLO, with no withdrawal fee. Mining software has its own dev fee (listed above).
Can I mine Beam solo?
Yes. In SOLO your rig receives the block reward (25 BEAM) minus the 1% pool fee when it finds one; VeinPool's Beam calculator shows your odds for your hashrate.
When do I get paid mining Beam?
Payouts are automatic once your confirmed balance reaches 1 BEAM. A block is confirmed after 240 blocks (about 4 h).
