How to Mine Tari (XTM): Complete CPU Mining Guide 2026
Tari is a digital-asset blockchain; its CPU-mined side uses RandomXT, derived from Monero's RandomX. This guide shows step by step how to mine Tari on VeinPool, a French mining pool with a 1% fee and no sign-up: your wallet address is all you need.
Tari at a glance
| Algorithm | RandomXT |
|---|---|
| Hardware | Processor (CPU) |
| Block reward | ≈ 10,066.2 XTM at the last block |
| Block time | 120 seconds |
| Blocks per day (network) | 720 |
| Pool fee | 1% |
| Minimum payout | 0.1 XTM |
| Confirmations before payout | 360 blocks (about 12 h) |

Ports
- Pool (PPLNS):
stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3070· TLS:stratum+ssl://veinpool.fr:13070 - SOLO:
stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3072· TLS:stratum+ssl://veinpool.fr:13072
1. Get a XTM address
You need a XTM receiving address whose keys you control: the official Tari wallet is the safest choice. Avoid exchange deposit addresses for solo mining: some exchanges do not accept block rewards (coinbase).
2. Download a mining software
Miners that work with Tari on VeinPool. Only download them from their official page (links below); the fees shown are the software's own dev fee, separate from the pool fee:
- XMRig — CPU · recommended · version v6.26.0 · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page - SRBMiner-MULTI — CPU · version 3.7.1 · dev fee 0.85%
Windows Linux official page - BzMiner CPU — CPU only · version v100.46 · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page
3. Start mining
Replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your XTM address and rig1 with your machine's name. Command for each miner (port 3070):
XMRig
xmrig.exe -a rx/0 -o veinpool.fr:3070 -u YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1 -p x -kSRBMiner-MULTI
SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --algorithm randomx --disable-gpu --pool veinpool.fr:3070 --wallet YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1BzMiner CPU
bzminer.exe -a randomx -p stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3070 -w YOUR_ADDRESS --pass x --worker rig1 --cpuOn Windows, paste the line into a .bat file inside the miner's folder; on Linux, start the program with ./ followed by its name. On the Tari page above, the generator writes the full command (PowerShell, .bat, Linux, HiveOS, MMPOS) with your address and a Copy button.
Pool (PPLNS) or SOLO?
PPLNS pool: everyone's hashrate is combined and each block is split according to the work each miner really did. Steady income, recommended for most rigs.
SOLO: your rig mines alone; when it finds a block it receives the reward (≈ 10,066.2 XTM at the last block) minus the 1% pool fee. On a small network like Tari, a single machine can find blocks regularly; the calculator shows your exact odds.
How much can you earn mining Tari?
Earnings depend on your hashrate, the network difficulty and the XTM price. The Tari calculator estimates them live (pool and solo); electricity cost is optional. The hardware ranking compares GPUs and CPUs.
Common problems
- Antivirus deletes the miner: most antivirus software flags mining tools. Only download them from their official page (links above), then add an exclusion for their folder.
- No stats on VeinPool: check the address, port and hostname; stats appear after the first shares (1 to 2 minutes).
- Hashrate lower than expected (CPU): enable huge pages (run the miner once as administrator), leave 1 or 2 threads for the system and avoid heavy tasks in parallel.
Tari mining FAQ
Which software should I use to mine Tari?
On VeinPool, Tari can be mined with XMRig, SRBMiner-MULTI, BzMiner CPU. The pool page generates the exact command for Windows, Linux, HiveOS and MMPOS.
Which port should I use to mine Tari on VeinPool?
Tari pool ports: Pool (PPLNS) → veinpool.fr:3070; SOLO → veinpool.fr:3072. Use the PPLNS port for steady income, or the SOLO port to go for whole blocks.
What are the fees to mine Tari?
VeinPool takes 1% of Tari rewards, in PPLNS and SOLO, with no withdrawal fee. Mining software has its own dev fee (listed above).
Can I mine Tari solo?
Yes. In SOLO your rig receives the block reward (≈ 10,066.2 XTM at the last block) minus the 1% pool fee when it finds one; VeinPool's Tari calculator shows your odds for your hashrate.
When do I get paid mining Tari?
Payouts are automatic once your confirmed balance reaches 0.1 XTM. A block is confirmed after 360 blocks (about 12 h).
