How to Mine Xelis (XEL): Complete CPU · GPU Mining Guide 2026
Xelis is a BlockDAG blockchain with confidential transactions, CPU-mined with XelisHash v3. This guide shows step by step how to mine Xelis on VeinPool, a French mining pool with a 1% fee and no sign-up: your wallet address is all you need.

1. Get a XEL address
You need a XEL receiving address whose keys you control: the official Xelis wallet is the safest choice. Avoid exchange deposit addresses for solo mining: some exchanges do not accept block rewards (coinbase).
2. Download a mining software
Miners that work with Xelis on VeinPool. Only download them from their official page (links below); the fees shown are the software's own dev fee, separate from the pool fee:
- SRBMiner CPU — CPU · recommended · version 3.7.1 · dev fee 1.5%
Windows Linux official page - BzMiner CPU — CPU only · version v100.46 · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page - BzMiner GPU — Graphics cards only · version v100.46 · dev fee 1%
Windows Linux official page - Rigel — NVIDIA · version 1.23.2 · dev fee 1 to 2%
Windows Linux official page - OneZeroMiner — NVIDIA · AMD · version v1.7.9 · dev fee 2%
Windows Linux official page - SRBMiner GPU — Graphics cards only · version 3.7.1 · dev fee 1.5%

3. Start mining
Replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your XEL address and rig1 with your machine's name. Command for each miner (port 3120):
SRBMiner CPU
SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --algorithm xelishashv3 --disable-gpu --pool veinpool.fr:3120 --wallet YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1BzMiner CPU
bzminer.exe -a xelis -p stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3120 -w YOUR_ADDRESS --pass x --worker rig1 --cpuBzMiner GPU
bzminer.exe -a xelis -p stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3120 -w YOUR_ADDRESS --pass x --worker rig1 --nvidia --amd --intelRigel
rigel.exe -a xelishashv3 -o stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3120 -u YOUR_ADDRESS -w rig1OneZeroMiner
onezerominer.exe -a xelis -o stratum+tcp://veinpool.fr:3120 -w YOUR_ADDRESS --worker rig1SRBMiner GPU
SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --algorithm xelishashv3 --disable-cpu --pool veinpool.fr:3120 --wallet YOUR_ADDRESS.rig1On Windows, paste the line into a .bat file inside the miner's folder; on Linux, start the program with ./ followed by its name. On the Xelis page above, the generator writes the full command (PowerShell, .bat, Linux, HiveOS, MMPOS) with your address and a Copy button.
Pool (PPLNS) or SOLO?
PPLNS pool: everyone's hashrate is combined and each block is split according to the work each miner really did. Steady income, recommended for most rigs.
SOLO: your rig mines alone; when it finds a block it receives the reward (≈ 0.306899 XEL at the last block) minus the 1% pool fee. On a small network like Xelis, a single machine can find blocks regularly; the calculator shows your exact odds.
How much can you earn mining Xelis?
Earnings depend on your hashrate, the network difficulty and the XEL price. The Xelis calculator estimates them live (pool and solo); electricity cost is optional. The hardware ranking compares GPUs and CPUs.
Common problems
- Antivirus deletes the miner: most antivirus software flags mining tools. Only download them from their official page (links above), then add an exclusion for their folder.
- No stats on VeinPool: check the address, port and hostname; stats appear after the first shares (1 to 2 minutes).
- Hashrate lower than expected (GPU): update your graphics driver and close apps that use the GPU (games, browsers playing video).
- Hashrate lower than expected (CPU): enable huge pages (run the miner once as administrator), leave 1 or 2 threads for the system and avoid heavy tasks in parallel.
Xelis mining FAQ
Which software should I use to mine Xelis?
On VeinPool, Xelis can be mined with SRBMiner CPU, BzMiner CPU, BzMiner GPU, Rigel. The pool page generates the exact command for Windows, Linux, HiveOS and MMPOS.
Which port should I use to mine Xelis on VeinPool?
Xelis pool ports: Pool (PPLNS) → veinpool.fr:3120; SOLO → veinpool.fr:3122. Use the PPLNS port for steady income, or the SOLO port to go for whole blocks.
What are the fees to mine Xelis?
VeinPool takes 1% of Xelis rewards, in PPLNS and SOLO, with no withdrawal fee. Mining software has its own dev fee (listed above).
Can I mine Xelis solo?
Yes. In SOLO your rig receives the block reward (≈ 0.306899 XEL at the last block) minus the 1% pool fee when it finds one; VeinPool's Xelis calculator shows your odds for your hashrate.
When do I get paid mining Xelis?
Payouts are automatic once your confirmed balance reaches 0.05 XEL. A block is confirmed after 30 blocks (about 8 min).
